Café de Flore

Café de Flore, Paris

A Saint-Germain-des-Prés café open since the 1880s, named for a statue of the goddess Flora across the boulevard. Picasso, Sartre and Beauvoir worked and argued on its red benches, and the Prix de Flore is still awarded here annually.
