A refined transitional church near Tiradentes Square, designed by Manuel Francisco Lisboa with a soapstone portal traditionally credited to his son Aleijadinho. Built from 1756 by a wealthy lay brotherhood, it blends late Baroque and Rococo beneath twin towers.
