Strathcona Park, Ottawa

Strathcona Park, laid out between 1904 and 1907 along the Rideau River in Sandy Hill, is one of Ottawa's oldest parks. Named for Lord Strathcona, it centres on an ornate 1909 fountain and serves a leafy district lined with embassies, theatre, and riverside walks.
