Rising approximately 92 meters above Parliament Hill, the Peace Tower is Canada's foremost war memorial. Built between 1919 and 1927, this Gothic Revival landmark holds a Memorial Chamber, the Books of Remembrance, a four-faced clock, and a carillon of 53 bells.
