# St. Egidien Church

Nuremberg, Germany

The only Baroque church in Nuremberg's old town, rebuilt between 1711 and 1718 after a fire destroyed the medieval Benedictine abbey on the site. Three older Gothic and Romanesque chapels survive alongside the grand 18th-century hall.
