# Schmausenbuck Hill and Lookout

Nuremberg, Germany

A wooded hill of around 390 metres in the Reichswald forest east of Nuremberg, long quarried for sandstone. It carries a 29-metre stone lookout tower opened in 1888 and borders the Nuremberg Zoo, which moved to its southern slope in 1939.
