Nuremberg, Germany
Fleisch Bridge (Fleischbrücke)

A single-arch stone bridge over the Pegnitz, built between 1596 and 1598. Its remarkably flat segmental arch spans twenty-seven metres, the largest masonry bridge arch in Germany of its day, an early engineering feat that has carried Nuremberg's heart for over four centuries.
