# Higashimuki Shopping Street

Higashimuki is a covered shopping arcade running between Kintetsu Nara Station and Sanjō-dōri. Named for its east-facing buildings, it grew with the railway in the early twentieth century and now packs roughly eighty shops and eateries beside the gateway to Nara Park.
