Napier Port
Hawke's Bay's main export harbour sits beneath Bluff Hill, where a public poll in 1885 chose to move the port from Ahuriri. The breakwater harbour was completed in 1886, and today the wharves ship the region's apples, timber, wool, meat and wine to the world.
