Mission Estate Winery

Founded in 1851 by French Marist missionaries, Mission Estate at Taradale is New Zealand's oldest surviving winemaker. Its centrepiece, the 1880 seminary La Grande Maison, was famously sawn apart and moved 5 kilometres to this hillside in 1911.
