# Hukarere Girls' College

Napier, New Zealand

A historic Anglican boarding school for Maori girls, founded in Napier in July 1875 by Bishop William Williams and Samuel Williams. Though now based near Havelock North, it took its name from a hillside above the city and remains a cornerstone of Maori education.
