# Tavarua

Nadi, Fiji

Tavarua is a heart-shaped Mamanuca island of about 29 acres, ringed by reef and world-famous for surfing. Its waters hold Cloudbreak, a powerful left often ranked among the best waves on Earth, plus six other named breaks. In 2020, Larry Page bought a 51% majority stake in the company holding a 99-year lease on Tavarua.
