# Weisses Bräuhaus

On the old-town street called Tal stands Munich's classic temple of wheat beer, the former white-beer brewery now run as the Schneider Bräuhaus. Here in 1872 Georg Schneider became the first commoner allowed to brew Weissbier, ending a long royal monopoly on the cloudy beer.
