# Munich Volkstheater

Munich, Germany

Founded in 1903 as a stage for ordinary Munich, this people's theatre moved in 2021 into a bold brick complex on the former cattle yard. Under director Christian Stückl it mixes Bavarian dialect drama with the classics and a celebrated festival of young directors.
