Theatine Church
A landmark of Italian High Baroque begun in 1663, its bright yellow facade and twin towers dominate Odeonsplatz. Founded in thanks for a royal heir, it brought a Roman style north of the Alps and shelters the burial crypt of the Wittelsbach dynasty.
