Nymphenburg Palace Park, Munich

A vast palace park of around 180 hectares, begun in 1671 as a small Mannerist garden and developed as a Baroque park from 1701 with a long central canal and cascade, later reshaped into an English landscape park by Friedrich Ludwig von Sckell. Four ornate royal pavilions stand among its trees.
