A grand neoclassical square in Munich's Maxvorstadt, shaped under King Ludwig the First and built around three Greek-revival temples by Leo von Klenze and Georg Friedrich Ziebland. Later a stage for Nazi rallies, it has since been restored to its serene classical character.
