# Isartor

Munich, Germany

Munich's eastern medieval gate, built in 1337 under Emperor Ludwig the Bavarian. It is the only city gate to keep its tall central tower, decorated with a fresco of Ludwig's victorious return, and now houses a museum to comedian Karl Valentin.
