A three-arched loggia built between 1841 and 1844 by Friedrich von Gartner for King Ludwig the First, modelled on Florence's Loggia dei Lanzi. It honours Bavaria's generals and stands at a darker crossroads of history, where the 1923 Beer Hall Putsch ended.
