# Brunswick

Melbourne, Australia

An inner-northern suburb 5 kilometres from the city, settled from the 1830s and named for Brunswick in Germany. Once Victoria's brickyard capital and a textile hub, it is now a multicultural, gentrified strip along Sydney Road, full of cafés, music and street life.
