Bab Mansour
Meknes's grandest ceremonial gateway, finished in 1732, opens the imperial city of Sultan Moulay Ismail. Marble columns taken from the Roman city of Volubilis flank an enormous horseshoe arch wrapped in green-and-white zellij and carved relief.
