# Bab Berdieyinne Mosque

Meknes, Morocco

A neighborhood mosque in the Meknes medina, completed in 1709 and founded by Khnata bent Bakkar, wife of Moulay Ismail. Its tall brick minaret collapsed during Friday prayers in 2010, killing dozens, and was rebuilt to the original design.
