# Almoravid Qubba

Marrakech, Morocco

A small domed ablutions pavilion built in the early 12th century under the Almoravid ruler Ali ibn Yusuf, and the only intact Almoravid building left in Marrakech. Its carved dome of pinecones, palms and shell shapes is a rare survival.
