# Boschpoort

Boschpoort is a small working-class neighbourhood on the west bank of the Meuse in northern Maastricht, named after a demolished city gate. Built in the early twentieth century beside the Sphinx potteries, it remains a quiet industrial-edge community of around 1,500 people.
