Bassin Inner Harbour
Maastricht's old inner harbour, dug between 1824 and 1826 as the southern end of the Zuid-Willemsvaart canal. Once ringed by Petrus Regout's ceramics factories, it is now the heart of the revived Sphinxkwartier, with cafés, cinema and boats.
