Fado Museum
A museum devoted to Lisbon's signature song, housed in a former nineteenth-century water-pumping station at the edge of Alfama. Since 1998 it has gathered recordings, instruments, paintings and biographies tracing fado from dockside taverns to UNESCO recognition.
