Casa de Osambela

Casa de Osambela, Lima

Built after Martín de Osambela acquired the site in 1807, with the first part completed in 1808, this indigo-blue Lima mansion is famed for its five Louis XVI balconies and octagonal rooftop lookout. Its four storeys made it among the tallest homes of late colonial Lima.
