Basilica and Convent of San Pedro

Completed in 1638 as the church of Lima's Jesuit college, San Pedro preserves one of the city's richest colonial interiors. Behind a sober facade glow gilded altars, blue-and-white azulejo tiles, and intricately carved pulpits surviving from the seventeenth century.
