Kamerlingh Onnes Building

A nineteenth-century laboratory on the Steenschuur, completed in 1859, where physicist Heike Kamerlingh Onnes first liquefied helium in 1908 and discovered superconductivity in 1911. Once the coldest place on Earth, it now houses Leiden Law School.
