Leiden, Netherlands
De Valk Windmill Museum

A towering brick grain mill of 1743, the last survivor of a row that once ringed Leiden's ramparts. It worked into the twentieth century and is now a museum where visitors climb past machinery and the miller's living quarters to a rooftop view.
