### 1. Skanderbeg Square

- Local name: Sheshi Skënderbej
- Coordinates: 41.5093, 19.7935
- In one line: The first statue of Skanderbeg in Albania, a work by Janaq Paço unveiled on 28 November 1959 at the threshold of the road that climbs toward the castle. Here Skanderbeg does not stand above the visitor but meets you at eye level, in the town he chose as his capital.

### 2. Kruja Old Bazaar

- Local name: Pazari i Vjetër i Krujës
- Coordinates: 41.510391, 19.791885
- In one line: An Ottoman bazaar that had been operating since the 15th century and was rebuilt from its foundations in 1966-1968, peaking on the 500th anniversary of Skanderbeg's death. Today around 60 shops, many with filigree, alabaster, carpets, and wood carving, some also with industrial souvenirs, stretch along 300 meters of cobblestone toward the castle.

### 3. Dollma Tekke

- Local name: Teqja e Dollmës
- Coordinates: 41.5061, 19.7928
- In one line: A Bektashi tekke raised by the Toptani family in 1779 at the southern corner of Krujë Castle, which survived state atheism because it was recognized as a Cultural Monument and was reopened for the faithful in 1991.

### 4. Kruja Mosque

- Local name: Xhamia e Krujës
- Coordinates: 41.509666, 19.794523
- In one line: A mosque built in 1533 in the heart of the Krujë bazaar, also known as the Mosque of Murad Bey. Its minaret was pulled down by hand in 1967 during state atheism and rebuilt in 1994, while the original frescoes were covered with paint during the 2012–2014 restoration.

### 5. Kruja Ethnographic Museum

- Local name: Muzeu Etnografik i Krujës
- Coordinates: 41.50716, 19.79268
- In one line: The House of the Toptanis inside Krujë Castle, by local tradition begun in 1764 for Kapllan Pasha, opened as the Ethnographic Museum on 20 November 1989 and reopened after an EU-funded restoration on 23 July 2024 with fifteen rooms.

### 6. Skanderbeg National Museum

- Local name: Muzeu Kombëtar Skënderbeu
- Coordinates: 41.5075, 19.7939
- In one line: A museum within the walls of the Castle, raised between 1978 and 1982 and designed by Pranvera Hoxha and Pirro Vaso in the language of the northern tower-houses. It preserves the legacy of Skanderbeg and bears witness to how the communist regime used the figure of the hero for legitimacy.

### 7. Kruja Castle

- Local name: Kalaja e Krujës
- Coordinates: 41.506891, 19.793933
- In one line: A fortress on a sheer hill rising about 500 metres above the Ishëm valley, the base of Skanderbeg's resistance against the Ottoman Empire between 1443 and 1468. Its walls withstood three sieges during his lifetime and fell only in 1478; today the Kala quarter remains a living neighbourhood, with residents still living inside the walls.

### 8. Sari Saltik Tekke

- Local name: Teqja e Sari Saltikut
- Coordinates: 41.5169957, 19.8023517
- In one line: A Bektashi tekke on a mountaintop 1,176 metres above sea level, linked to the 13th-century dervish Sari Salltik. Pulled down in 1967 and rebuilt by volunteers in 1991, it preserves the footprint in the rock and draws pilgrims every 22 August.

### 9. Zgërdhesh

- Local name: Zgërdheshi
- Coordinates: 41.475806, 19.763494
- In one line: The ruins of an Illyrian city on more than eight hectares of hillside, five kilometres from Krujë, with 1,400 metres of polygonal walls from the 5th–3rd centuries BCE. Many scholars identify it with Albanopolis, the hypothetical capital of the Albanoi tribe, from whose name the exonym Alban perhaps derives.

### 10. Qafë Shtamë Park

- Local name: Parku Qafë Shtamë
- Coordinates: 41.52055556, 19.89805556
- In one line: A natural park in the Skanderbeg mountain range, 1,230 metres above the sea, declared a National Park in 1996 and reclassified as a Natural Park in 2022 with 6,864 hectares, where the beech forests shelter bears, wolves and eagles and where the Queen Mother's Spring flows, tied to the name of the Qafshtama brand.
