# Skenduli House

Gjirokastra, Albania

This Gjirokastër tower house has foundations dating to the early eighteenth century and took on its grand appearance in the first quarter of the nineteenth century. It has twelve rooms, carved wooden ceilings and secret tunnels. Today it is a private museum run by descendants of the Skenduli family.
