Old Bazaar
The Old Bazaar is Gjirokastër's Ottoman commercial heart, with cobblestones, white limestone walls and black slate roofs. Rebuilt after the fire of the nineteenth century, it is now recognised as part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, local crafts coexist with the layers of the city's history.
