# National Armaments Museum

Opened in nineteen seventy-one in the cells of Zog's prison inside the castle, this museum mainly covers the period from independence in nineteen twelve to the end of the Second World War. In the courtyard stands the American Lockheed T thirty-three A aircraft, which was forced to land at Tirana International Airport on the twenty-third of December, nineteen fifty-seven.
