Gjirokastër Ethnographic Museum

The museum was built between nineteen sixty-four and nineteen sixty-six on the site where Enver Hoxha was born, after a fire destroyed the original house in nineteen sixteen. It served as the Antifascist Museum until nineteen ninety-one, when it reopened as the Ethnographic Museum with a collection illustrating traditional life in Gjirokastër.
