Mëçitë Church

This Orthodox church in the neighbourhood of Mëçitë was built in seventeen eighty-four with a simple façade to comply with Ottoman rules. One of the few religious buildings to survive the atheist campaign of nineteen sixty-seven in the city where Enver Hoxha was born, it is now used for religious services again, following restoration between nineteen ninety-three and nineteen ninety-five.
