A 5th Dynasty royal necropolis between Giza and Saqqara, holding the weathered pyramids of Sahure, Neferirkare, Nyuserre, and Neferefre. It also yielded the Abusir Papyri, the largest archive of Old Kingdom administrative records ever found.
