Ghent, Belgium
St James' Church

A parish church near the Vrijdagmarkt whose twin Romanesque towers date from around 1120, making it among the oldest churches in Ghent. A Scheldt Gothic body rose over the early core, and pilgrims once paused here on the road to Santiago de Compostela.
