Muide-Meulestede Docklands

A working-class peninsula in northern Ghent ringed by the old harbour docks, where 19th-century warehouses, swing bridges and dockside cranes survive among new housing. Once run by sailors and dockers, it is now a mixed, lived-in neighbourhood far from the tourist centre.
