Ghent's oldest museum, housed in a neoclassical building of around 1900 by Charles Van Rysselberghe in Citadelpark. Its collection of roughly 9,000 works spans the Middle Ages to the 20th century, with paintings by Bosch, Rubens, and Ensor.
