Kouter (Flower Market Square)
One of Ghent's largest and grandest squares, once a horse market and military parade ground. It has hosted a Sunday flower market since 1772 and centres on a cast-iron music kiosk of 1878, framed by elegant 18th and 19th-century buildings.
