# Dulle Griet (Mad Meg Cannon)

A giant wrought-iron siege cannon from the 15th century, forged from 32 iron bars bound by 61 rings and stretching nearly five metres. Painted bright red and set near the Vrijdagmarkt, it ranks among Europe's surviving medieval superguns.
