# Rio Vermelho State Park

A 1,532-hectare coastal park behind Moçambique beach, protecting restinga scrub, dunes, and an experimental pine plantation. Created in 2007 from a 1962 forest station, it shelters more than 100 bird species and rescued wildlife.
