Florence, Italy
Ponte Vecchio

Florence's oldest bridge, rebuilt in 1345 on three low stone arches, still carries goldsmiths' and jewelers' shops established by a Medici order in 1593. The Vasari Corridor runs above it, and it survived the destruction of the Second World War.
