Florence, Italy
Wine Windows (Buchette del Vino)

Small arched hatches cut into Florentine palazzo walls, once used by noble families to sell estate wine straight to the street. Rooted in a 1559 Medici decree, around 150 survive across the city, and a few have reopened to serve drinks again.
