Basilica of Santo Spirito

One of Brunelleschi's last designs, this Augustinian basilica in the Oltrarno was begun in 1444. Behind its bare facade lies a serene Renaissance interior of uniform chapels, and a sacristy holding a wooden crucifix attributed to Michelangelo.
