Tala'a Kebira, the "Great Climb," is the main artery of the Fes el-Bali medina. Running downhill from the Blue Gate toward the Qarawiyyin, this crowded souk street passes the Bou Inania Madrasa, the old water clock, and endless shops and food stalls.
