# Bou Inania Madrasa

Fez, Morocco

Built between 1350 and 1355 by the Marinid sultan Abu Inan Faris, this grand madrasa is the only one in Fez with its own minaret. Carved cedar, glowing onyx, and intricate zellij tilework surround its marble courtyard, open to visitors of all faiths.
