Bab Ftouh
Bab Ftouh, the "Gate of the Opening," is the great southeastern gate of Fes el-Bali. Rebuilt in Almohad style around 1212 and restored under the Alaouites, it guards the medina beside a vast historic cemetery and the old potters' quarter.
