A fortified palace with medieval origins, built on the old castle walls of Évora and rebuilt across the 14th and 15th centuries. Blending Gothic, Mudéjar, Manueline and Renaissance styles, it remains owned by the Cadaval family and houses their collection of art and manuscripts.
